SMASH! SYDNEY MANGA AND ANIME SHOW, Australia’s premier Japanese pop culture convention, is back for another enormous year this August 19 – 20 at Rosehill Gardens. Revelling in all the colour and festival of Japanese pop-culture, Australia’s #1 anime convention is the ultimate celebration of cosplay, animation, fashion, gaming and entertainment cultures. “For fans of Japanese pop culture, SMASH! is one of the greatest experiences of the year,” says Andrew Qiu, President at SMASH! “SMASH! offers something for fans of all ages to love, and hopefully expand their knowledge of Japan’s unique culture.” Set to be their most massive year yet, SMASH! will be bringing the biggest names in Japanese pop culture to Sydney, including cosplay superstars Baozi and Hana, voice actors Shizuka Itoh, Daisuke Sakaguchi and Shiori Mikami, manga illustrator Asami Hagiwara, illustrator Redjuice, gaming CEO Hiroaki Yura, character designer Yusuke Kozaki, and Japanese DJs Yui Kanan and Teddyloid.
