Join Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art centres and artisans across Australia at the iconic Blak Markets at Bare Island La Parouse Sunday, April 8th from 9.30am to 4pm.

The Blak Markets are a great chance to buy authentic unique gifts knowing that 100% of the profits go back into Aboriginal communities. The Blak Markets feature authentic, original and affordable Aboriginal artworks, beauty products and one-of-a-kind homewares and jewellery as well as Indigenous inspired food and refreshments.

Arts and Craft have always been a focus at the Blak Markets and this time we will have Ronnie Jordon from culture on the move doing a free weaving workshop.

Bush tucker is an integral part of the Blak Market experience and this market is no exception with our Gourmet Bushfood Sausages which includes Kangaroo, Emu, Crocodile and Wild Boar or try out Kangaroo Burger with Native Peppers

We will also be showing our "At the heart of Sport" exhibition curated by Blak Market curator so come along and see how our Sydney artists have responded to the theme of sport.

Entertainment for the day includes performances Thikkabilla Vibrations. Thikkabilla Vibrations is an Aboriginal Dance & Cultural Group creating positive change for our future leaders. We have seen a lot of movement from this dance group interaction with there local community in Dubbo.
