Camden Garden Festival - September 21 - 23, 2018 - Camden NSW

Camden will be in the spotlight this September for its outstanding horticultural heritage, garden-oriented tourist experiences and raft of local experts.

Camden is home to Camden Park House, the home of Australia’s first horticulturist, William Macarthur, neighbours The Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan, has a thriving community garden and is also home to Mickey Robinson’s spectacular Glenmore House kitchen garden.

The Camden Garden Festival will pull all of this together into one jam-packed program to help acquaint locals with what we have on our doorstep and attract new visitors to Camden.

There will be a launch party with an organic wine tasting by Tim White from Thistle Hill in Mudgee, there will be a talks program with local experts teaching gardening skills, a workshop program where you can make your own macrame plant hanger, plant stalls, and a kitchen garden tour and afternoon tea at Glenmore House.

The Festival also coincides with the annual Camden Park House Open Day for people who want to check out William Macarthur’s Victorian landscape design, original cuttings garden and glasshouse.
