This August, the Sydney Dog Lovers Show returns to the the Royal Hall of Industries & Hordern Pavilion with an exciting new-and-improved two day weekend of events.
The 2018 theme is ‘Dog Sports’ with the inaugural Sydney Common Woof Games headlining the event. Popular pet-lovers Dr Katrina Warren and Dr Chris Brown will co-host the nail-biting finals as K9s from four corners of the globe compete for Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in Dog Socca, Dog Basketball, Dog Vault, Barrel Racing and so much more.
With more than 500 dogs and over 120 breeds it’s a puppy-lover’s paradise for two whole days in August! In another exciting first, Australian Working Dog Rescue International (AWDRI) is transforming the outdoor forecourt into a giant sheepdog herding zone for the inaugural Sydney Dog Lovers Show Sheepdog Speed Trials.
The all new Dueling Dogs Wave Competition will headline the outdoor aquatic program with Dr Katrina Warren & Kelly Gill, Dr Chris Brown and TV star Andrew Morley will host an array of educational talks at the Pet Circle Stage. The crowd favourite Insta-Pooch Zone will be returning alongside the Dog Adoption Zone, Ask-A-Breeder Stage and Pat-A-Pooch.
