Great Aunty Three

There is a winning combination of comfort and refreshment that is synonymous with Vietnamese street food and it is a skill mastered well by the team at Surry Hills' Great Aunty Three.

Owner Michael Le took the memories and experience of his cooking experience with his family to a level of realisation through the Great Aunty Three brand, embodying that authentic flavour and warm hospitality.

Cosy in its space and brought to life through fire-engine-red chairs, this is a casual small restaurant that focuses on traditional favourites served generously. Sit on the bustling Wentworth Street corner and watch the world go by, or sit inside and marvel at the multitasking, smiling cooks.

Classics like the beef or chicken phở ($12+) are like a warm hug from an aunty. Bold in flavour in all the right ways, this classic is the perfect dish to warm you up on a cold winter's lunch break.

For a light lunch on the go, the bánh mì ($10+) is packed with crispy carrots, shallots and selected meat fillings into a crispy French style bread roll. In the warmer months, the rice paper rolls ($10+) are a refreshing and zesty choice.

Catering to the food-centric Surry Hills, diners can choose to dine in, order online for delivery or pick up covering all bases for those Vietnamese cuisine cravings.
