Bar None pops up this week for three long weekends, of Thursdays Fridays Saturdays in December.
Not too long ago, for a few years I had a weekly newspaper column about small bars in Sydney, with the result I know a lot about booze. To be truthful, I never thought I'd be writing about zero alcohol. But there you have it, this year, and the year before has taken its toll, and I'm wanting the chill without the ill this year end. For it was always about the all important flavour, texture, craftmanship. Not getting smashed. Enter award winning Lyre's.

So I'm pleased to be introducing Bar None QT Laneway owning speakeasy vibes with an intimate capacity of 12 inside and 25 outside with chilled jazz. Kicking off at 4pm each day the zero alcohol yet 100% deliciousness gives punters such as me who have a lot of catching up to do, the chance for a long night out.
Knock back Lyre’s Non-Alcoholic Espresso Martini made with Lyre’s White Cane, Coffee Originale, and Parlour Cucina Coffee. Alternatively, tantalise your tastebuds with a Lyre’s Negroni, a round of Margaritas or perhaps one of the many Lyre’s summer spritzes on offer, all of which are also available for takeaway, all evening.
