We love a reason to frock up! And we had the chance last week at a glittering black tie event at the Hotel Centennial. The celebrations announced the winners for the 40th anniversary of one of the most coveted wine awards in Australia, the Vin De Champagne Awards.
NSW took out the field with Annette Lacey (Sydney Wine Academy) winning the professional category and Tom Warrell (Operations Manager, Uber) winning the amateur award.
VIP guests had the chance to taste flights of Champagne over beautiful canapés and then a formal sit down dinner by Chef Justin North.
And the belle of the evening? We think, just had to be the elegant Director of the Champagne Bureau Australia, Elisabeth Drysdale.
