Since breaking through in 2016 with his self-released debut solo single Out of My System UK-based multi-talented musician Youngr has racked up over 150 million+ global streams and played at over 250 shows in 35 countries around the world, including sold-out tours across Europe and North America.
Youngr made a name for himself in the online sphere, with his unique one-take live videos of dancefloor-friendly bootlegs, scoring viral success. Notably, Youngr’s take on Sweet Disposition by The Temper Trap became one of his biggest to date, racking up over 15 million+ video views within the first two weeks alone.
As a finely honed craftsman in the studio, Youngr’s original works are equally captivating with acclaimed releases. This is not an Album took listeners by storm, and Live from Llamaland Studios pushing Youngr’s creative limits by creating the album under a self-set challenge, to make a piece of music every day for 30 days, posting the resulting compositions on his social media channels.
Youngr talking about his LIVE Sets: “I’ve always loved playing, so getting the chance to rip apart a song and reimagine it live and how it’s going to mix into the next song is a real joy. But also, the art of writing a song from scratch is just totally magical and I have no idea how it happens. It’s still a wonderful mystery to me!”
Blue Llama Records is the portal for Youngr’s music to reach the outside world. Having previously signed with the likes of Armada Music and Island Records, establishing his own imprint was a natural succession in Youngr’s story to becoming a fully independent artist.
