Tramsheds

The newly restored heritage-listed Rozelle Tramsheds centres around connecting people to provedores, offering an array of top-class food retailers in the European-inspired Food Hall. Constructed in 1904, the long derelict Rozelle Tram Depot has been blessed with new life. With its distinctive saw tooth roof, it seems like the sort of building that demands to be more than just wasted space. The huge tram network that once serviced the inner west - in the earliest days the trams were horse drawn - was second in size only to that of London's in the entire Commonwealth, and while times may have changed, there is still a thriving need to make use of our historical spaces.
