We know that Sydney loves it’s coffee but tea is on the rise. Table and Founder of Ovvio Organics, Anthia Koullourous will host a unique herbal tea appreciation lesson and special tea ceremony at St Canice’s Kitchen Rooftop Garden.
Anthia will show tea lovers how to blend various herbal teas made with leaves, flowers, spices and fruit followed by a relaxing tea ceremony under the stars. Over two hours guests will also learn how to choose base teas and understand flavour relationships, visual appeal, aroma and therapy with organic herbal tea and wholefood snacks to be served throughout the evening.
All ticket proceeds will support a collaboration between Anthia and Table’s upcoming horticultural GROW therapy program, in conjunction with the Mental Health Unit at St Vincent’s Hospital. The seven-week GROW program supports people with a lived experience of mental illness to learn the fundamentals of gardening and herbal medicine to foster independence and socialisation in the tranquil environment of the St Canice’s Kitchen Rooftop Garden.
Guests will enjoy organic herbal tea and delicious wholefood snacks throughout the evening.
