Sydney's psychedelic shoegaze heroes Grinding Eyes are set to release their debut album. The self-titled effort finds the quartet delivering a towering slab of obsidian-black noise that delivers on all their early promise.
The record is an international effort: Recorded in Sydney by Owen Penglis (Straight Arrows / The Grates), mixed in Montpellier France by Jim Diamond (The Hives, The White Stripes), and mastered in Detroit USA at Ghetto Recorders.
To celebrate the album release, catch Grinding Eyes at the iconic Lansdowne on October 21st. They'll be joined by some of their mates for an all-out psych-rock jam, including The Holy Soul, Skullsquadron and more.
