Enzo Guarino of Casa Cucina will host the cooking stage where chefs will demonstrate, share their recipes and give visitors a taste. Some lucky visitors may even get a chance to join the chef to cook. Chefs include Pino Locantro of Locantro, Bryan Gerlini of Capriccio Osterio, Anna-Jane Dalton of Conjurup Food and Jonathan Trouillet of La Cantine.
The Leichhardt Long Lunch Food & Wine Festivals to be held on 28 February, 29 May and 4 September will lead-up to a ‘long-long’ lunch at the 30th annual Norton Street Italian Festa on 30 October.
The Festivals will be located in the Leichhardt Town Hall and the large adjoining outdoor area. There will be entertainers and cooking demonstrations by ‘chefs with taste’! A fantastic fun family and community day out.
The Leichhardt Long Lunch Series, evolving from the popular Norton Street Festa is an initiative of the Leichhardt and Annandale Business Chamber, sponsored by Leichhardt Council and organised by the Impact Exhibitions and Events team.
The Food & Wine Festivals will represent the Inner West as a premier Sydney food and wine district and also provide opportunities for local artisans and businesses in the Leichhardt, Annandale, Balmain, Rozelle, Lilyfield and Birchgrove areas to showcase their products and skill.
