Screaming Females are one of the most consistent and interesting of all contemporary rock bands. The New Jersey trio bring eruptions of six-string virtuosity, expressive, quivering vocals from front woman Marissa Paternoster and pummelling punk rock bedrock to every album. They'll be hitting Sydney in August on the back of their 2015 Rose Mountain, possibly their most mature and consistent effort yet. Catch them at Oxford Art Factory, where they'll be ripping the roof off of the venue's upstairs Gallery Bar.
