Roll out the RUBY carpet for the Sydney Colour Ball 2016.

More than 500 guests are expected for a night of colour, live music & entertainment, food & drinks and raising money for Redkite at the Ivy Ballroom. 

Now in its 16th year, the Colour Ball is an annual charity event where young professionals can enjoy a cocktail atmosphere, light up the dance floor and have a fabulous night out on the town – all while raising money for children and young people with cancer, as well as their families.

This year the Colour Ball aims to raise more than $75,000 for Redkite. “Colour Ball always delivers a memorable night out for our guests, with every dollar raised on the night helping Redkite provide much-needed financial support to families with children or young adults who have cancer,” says Sydney Colour Ball Committee Chairman, Dan Brandon, who will be attending his ninth Colour Ball this year. He adds, “Colour Ball is not your traditional sit-down dinner – it’s a proper cocktail party, with live music and dancing. It’s a fundraising event with a difference and one that fun-loving Sydneysiders can embrace while knowing that they can have a real impact on families in need.”

The Ruby Colour Ball will feature live music and entertainment, canapés and food stations by the Ivy, unlimited beer and wine by Taylors Wines, silent auctions, exciting prize raffles and giveaways (including a ruby cocktail raffle and best dressed awards) and a dance floor to boogie the night away to the live tunes of The Sincopa Trio.

Proceeds raised from the Colour Ball go towards the amazing work that Redkite does for children with cancer and their families throughout the whole cancer journey. This includes financial assistance, counselling and support to keep the child’s education goals on track; from the moment of diagnosis, throughout treatment and when they return home.
