Sunday Sessions are a thing at Vecina this April
Vecina, Flotilla’s new neighbour in Newcastle’ trendy Wickham will transform into a pop-up Cellar Door in April during this April’s 4th rendition of Newcastle Food Month. Grab your gang and secure your spot at the coolest cellar door in Newcastle on Sunday 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th April. Rub shoulders with some of the Hunter Valley’s leading winemakers and well-known larrikins, and taste through some of their best wines perfectly paired with some fabulous bites from Vecina, and cool tunes of course.
Sunday 7th April – Hungerford Hill + Sweetwater Estate
Winemaker Bryan Currie of Sweetwater Estate and Hungerford Hill, will showcase a selection of his best wines from both estates, perfectly paired with delicious snacks from Vecina.
Sunday 14th April – Vinden + Sabi Wabi
The second session of the series of four is with Winemakers Angus Vinden of Vinden Wine and Peta Kotz of Sabi Wabi, who will showcase a selection of their delicious and contemporary wines perfectly paired with finger-licking snacks from Vecina.
Sunday 21st April – Thomas + De Iuliis
The third session of the series of four is with charismatic Winemaker mates Andrew Thomas of Thomas Wines and Mike De Iuliis of De Iuliis Wines, who will showcase a selection of their awesome wines alongside the fantastic snacks from Vecina.
Sunday 28th April – Charteris + Mercer
The fourth session of the series of four is with the legendary Winemakers Aaron Mercer of Mercer Wines and PJ Charteris of Charteris Wines, who will showcase a selection of their multi-regional wines, alongside the fantastic snacks from Vecina.
