Happy Hour - what wonderful words, don't you think?

Sydney siders is there anything better than getting your favourite cocktail at an amazing price? Here's five of the best that are happening right now for this Sydney summer.

City slickers can get their CBD happy hour fix at 5 star luxury hotel the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth with $10 Margaritas and $10 Espresso martinis from 5pm to 7pm Monday to Friday. The Sofitel Soirée Bar two happy hours also includes Stone & Wood Pacific Ale, Dal Zotto prosecco, and Te Mata Sauvignon Blanc at $6 each, fresh oysters $2.50 each and pomme frites (hot chips) for $5.

Corridor in Newtown mixes fabulous drinks and boasts one of Sydney’s happiest hours. Enjoy $10 pints, $15 jugs and $14 cocktails every night from 5 to 7pm, with different specials every day. With different happy hour cocktails to choose from each day of the week, you can enjoy something new every time you go. 

Wilhelmina's in Balmain (pictured) gives great happy hour 5pm to 6pm every day with a huge selection of bevvies on offer. Spritz are 10 bucks: Aperol Spritz (Aperol, Prosecco), Penninsula Spritz (Lillet Rose, Mediterranean tonic), Spagliato (Campari, vermouth + bubbles). Gin lovers rejoice with $12 Gin Cocktails: Negroni (Gin, Campari, Vermouth), Southside (Gin, mint, lemon), Tom Collins (Gin, lemon, soda), Corpse Reviver (Gin, Lillet Blanc, Cointreau, Chartreuse). The Balmain bar also has a range of $9 wine and beers each day during happy hour. Stay on for Sunset Jazz most Saturdays.

Bartolo Restaurant and Wine Bar in Surry Hills not only has happy hour Wednesday 5pm to 6pm, and Thursday to Sunday 4pm to 6pm, but offers a large sidewalk sitting area with umbrellas, outdoor tables and benches to enjoy your drinks in. The Crown Street value $6 Peroni Red, $8 Prosecco $8, $10 Negronis, $12 Martinis or Aperol Spritz is supplemented with $3 Sydney rock oysters.

The Imperial Erskineville, the iconic LGBTQIA+ venue beloved for its vibrant entertainment gives out happy in more ways than one. Each day from Wednesday to Friday from 4pm opening until 6pm the inner west can negotiate house bevvies - beers spirits wines - for just some loose change in their pockets 6 bucks. Who wouldn't choose happy hour alcohol over the price of a large coffee. We ask you!
