George Street Food Gallery

6th Dec 2023

Kicking off today in The Rocks, the George Street Food Gallery curated by Joanna Savill brings you three fun ways to eat on the street.

Love Child by Palisa Anderson (Chat Thai) will be banging out grilled skewers like king prawn in smoky chilli jam ($18/2) and Pioik rolls (from the famous Pyrmont bakery) filled with betel leaf kofta ($16).

Right next door the equally famous Junda Khoo—the brains behind Ho Jiak & Amah (Chatswood)—will offer his epic char koay teow ($19) alongside seafood laksa and nasi goreng.

Or, for a taste of Mexico, hit up Los Fridos run by Diego Lugo, a Mexican restauranteur and food importer. He’ll have tamales ($20) and a creamy rice drink with cinnamon and vanilla called horchata ($7) for you to try. The George Street Food Gallery runs until the end of January, and you can read full menus online 》
